The following are the rules and guidelines for the LCI.
-Format
- The LCI plays in a ten team, ten week, all-play-all format. This means that ten teams can and will be playing throughout the entire ten week LCI Winter season.
- Two matches are played every week, one on Saturday, and one on Sunday.
- The first game of every Saturday and Sunday will begin at 3 PM PST. (Schedule might change afterward)
- To get into the LCI, teams must apply before the upcoming season application deadline.
- APPLICATIONS
-Teams are allowed up to 9 members when registering.
- When applying, be sure to fill out every required information including your team's roster.
- Members of each team who applied their roster will be assigned as a team captain.

-RELEGATION
- At the end of the season, the teams that finished in 8th, 9th and 10th place will be placed in the upcoming season's promotional tournament to fight for a spot back into the LCI.
- The teams that finish 8th and 9th will receive first round byes in the promotional tournament.

- PLAYOFFS/TIE-BREAKERS
-At the end of the season, the top 6 teams will compete in a LCI tournament to decide the champion.
- The first round of the playoffs and the semifinals will be in a Best of Three format for each series. The grand finals, however, will be a Best of Five series to determine the champion of Season 1.

- GAME TIME
- If your team is unable to compete, please let LCI staffs know so that the match will be forfeited.
- Each team is permitted 5 minutes of pause time during matches. This can be used as a tactical timeout or as a time to fix any technical issues. Pausing for longer than five minutes will result in a loss of 1 ban in that team's next match for each extra minute that passes during the pause.
- An additional pause taken with no disconnection will result in the penalty of 1 ban lost in the next game for the team who initiated the pause.
- A pause can NOT be taken in the middle of a team fight. Any pause taken during a fight will result in a loss of all 3 bans in the next game for the team that initiated the pause.
- A ready check must be completed by all players before resuming the game.
- Any BM all chat is not allowed during the games, and if found, the game will be forfeited immediately. BM all chat will result in a loss of all bans during your team's next match.

- TEAM ROSTER
- The maximum members to a team roster is 9.
- The starting roster for the week must be posted in the forums the Friday before the weekend's matches.
- Teams are allowed to drop and add players as needed, but this must be communicated to LCI staffs.
- Players may not be on two rosters at once.
- Only the team captain or LCI staffs is allowed to make roster changes
- If the LCI staff determines a player to be smurfing, that player will be immediately removed from their current roster and banned from the league.
- There can't be more than 3 platinum players on each team.

- Team Disbandment & Re-branding
- When a team captain drops from the league mid-season, the remaining players have 24 hours to claim the team, after 24 hours the team will be replaced with the next team on the waiting list. If a player wants to claim the team they must take responsibility and contact LCI staffs before the 24 hour period expires.
- Teams who take the place of dropped out teams will obtain the winning record left behind by the team who dropped out.
- Teams who join the league late due to other teams dropping out can only play in the LCI playoffs if they have played in at least 6 regular season matches.
- Teams will not be allowed to rebrand midway through the season.
